SPRING PROGRAM

Join us this season in a multi-sensory exploration of language, unpacking art’s power to communicate, to investigate, to gather and to contemplate.

From midnight poetry under the Ramadan stars, to kneading your own clay earthenware and making your own paper, this season is full of opportunities for you to find new languages to express yourself.

The next three months will see you on our Culture Bus to an Abu Dhabi observatory, Dubai art centers, and Sharjah exhibitions. The season will also host a solo exhibition of Jill Magi, participant of our Artistic Development Exhibition Program, as well as a group show of the current NYUAD MFA students.

If you would like to propose a workshop, please use this form.

Please note that as per Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi regulations, a "green" status on the Al Hosn app is required for participation and attendance of any workshops, talks, and in-space events.

For those who are unvaccinated, a 48-hour negative PCR test result is required for ages 18 and above.

Warehouse421 is pleased to present “The Weft in Pencil”, a solo exhibition by Jill Magi, as part of the Artistic Development Exhibition Program, in partnership with The Institute for Emerging Art.

The paintings and fabric works in “The Weft in Pencil” are rooted in the grid or matrix—the intersection of warp and weft, the editorial grid of the page, the weaver’s draft notations—as a generative space.
